In order to reach their goals, the members of the association gather and process scientific and professional literature, take part in counseling, seminars and research projects.
The association has focused its activities mainly to the improvement of tourism in its surroundings, so our town and municipality could be presented to our co-citizens and visitors in appropriate touristic way.
The members of the association are graduated tourismologists, geographers, economists who have graduated at two-year post-secondary schools or colleges where tourism is studied.
WE INVITE ALL WHO:

have a BSc in tourism, BSc in geography-tourism or a MSc or PhD in tourism; |
| - |
have graduated any other college or two-year post-secondary schools and have many years’ experience in tourism; |
| - |
have any experience in scientific research work about important issues for tourism development, or have published scientific papers which have contributed to the development of tourism and by practical work have contributed to the development of tourism.; |

Assembly of Association of Tourismologists of Zrenjanin

All members of the association are in the Assembly of Association of Tourismologists of Zrenjanin.
The Association of Tourismologists of Zrenjanin has 30 members – 25 of them have a faculty degree such as a BSc in tourism, BSc in geography-tourism, BSc in geography, BSc in economy etc. The Association has 18 female and 12 male members. The eldest member was born in 1951 and the youngest in 1978. We proudly state that one member has an MSc in tourism and three more are nearly to write up an MSc thesis. Furthermore, dozen of young people who are in the final year of the Faculty of Tourism in Novi Sad and Belgrade have made their wish to contribute to the activity of the Association.
The Assembly of Association of Tourismologists elects the Managing Board, which consists of 5 members, a PR of the Association and the Supervisory Board.
The first Managing Board 2002 -2006.
The first Managing Board was elected on the I Electoral Assembly of Association of Tourismologist of Zrenjanin.

The Supervisory Board elects the Chairperson from among its members.

The goals of the Association of Tourismologist of Zrenjanin

The goals of the Association of Tourismologist of Zrenjanin are: scientific and expert research in the area of tourism, exchange of scientific and professional experiences and encouraging the use of science and tourism concept in the development of tourism.
In order to achieve its goals, the Association of Tourismologist of Zrenjanin has itself set the following tasks:
| 1. to gather and process scientific and professional literature in the area of tourism; |
| 2. to organize, alone or in a cooperation with other organizations, scientific and professional gatherings, counseling, seminars and other professional forms of education in this field; |
| 3. to publish books and publications in tourismology respecting the Law; |
| 4. to organize scientific and professional employees to do scientific, professional, research projects in tourism; to cooperate with universities, professional |
| 5. associations and other organizations in the country and abroad which are in tourism. |
